Rob learned to make wine the old-fashioned way, totally hands on.
Rob learned to make wine the old-fashioned way--hands on, starting as a cellar rat in 1996, guided by longtime friend & mentor John Abbott at Canoe Ridge Vineyard, followed by 4 years as cellarmaster at Woodward Canyon. Several courses later at WSU & UC Davis, Rob became the Washington State winemaker for Corus Estates & Vineyards in 2004, where he still works today. Rob is majority owner & Chief Wine Taster for Thirsty Pagans.
